But are these rentals actually real?
The short answer is YES!
You absolutely can find rentals in Mexico for $500-600 USD a month.
But there’s something important you need to understand before you start comparing prices.
A $500 rental in Mexico can mean VERY different things depending
on which city and what marketplace you are looking in.
For example, that price might get you a comfortable two-bedroom home in a less popular city or a basic studio apartment in a more expensive destination (in the outskirts of town).
However, in popular areas like Puerto Vallarta, San Miguel de Allende, or parts of Mexico City, finding something at that price can be much more challenging.
